A BREAKFAST DISH TO TRY

For those of you who know me, you know how much I love cooking and baking. Today's blog is one of my favorite breakfast recipes. I enjoyed making this recipe multiple times, after the first taste my family kept asking me for more!  So much more work for me!πŸ˜‚  Read ahead to see how easy this recipe is to make! πŸ₯―

CHEESY EGG TOAST

Check out the recipe below! The key is not to bake the toast for more than 12 minutes that way you get a perfect yolk! πŸ˜‰ The ingredients you need are:

Ingredients

for 1 serving

  • 1 slice bread
  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons shredded cheese
  • salt and pepper

To start, preheat the oven to 400°F. Then, take a soft piece of toast and make a pocket in the middle of it by pushing the back of the spoon into the bread to form a circle inside the bread. After you finish that step, take a ½ tablespoon of butter at room temperature and spread it along the sides of the bread around the pocket. Next, crack an egg into the pocket, line the ends of the bread with shredded cheese, and add some salt and pepper.πŸ§‚ Once your oven is preheated, (my oven takes so long to preheat)πŸ™„ pop your bread in the oven (with some foil and parchment paper underneath) and bake it for about 10-15 minutes depending on how much you want the yolk to run. The less runny you want it means more baking time. Happy baking! πŸ³

This was my favorite breakfast recipe, I hope you enjoyed making it as much as I enjoyed writing it for you! See you next Wednesday, Later! πŸ‘‹
